The IBioIC steering committee would like to invite you to submit an abstract to present at IBioIC’s 4th annual conference ‘Building on Success’.

Abstracts are being accepted for our parallel tracks and will sit under the themes of Technical and Commercial. The call opens on Monday 24th July and will close at midnight on Monday 11 September.

Abstracts must be submitted through the Abstract Submission Form available below and should be no more than 250 words in length and must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in the submission guidelines.


Authors whose abstracts have been accepted are responsible for all costs associated with attending the conference including registration, travel, accommodation and conference dinner, unless otherwise agreed by IBioIC’s steering committee. Upon confirmation that your abstract has been selected, you will be sent a link for registration.

Guidelines for abstract submission


  • Monday 24 July Call for abstracts opens
  • Monday 11 September Call for abstracts closes (midnight)
  • Monday 9 October Conference programme launched
  • Thursday 25 & Friday 26 January  IBioIC’s 4th Annual Conference

All abstracts must be submitted via the online form by midnight on Monday 11 September 2017. Abstracts submitted via other means will not be accepted.


All abstracts should include the following information:

  • Title
  • One theme from the list selected
  • List of authors
  • Biography & headshot
  • 250 word abstract to be submitted in text format only. No graphs, figures, images should be used.

Abstract Review Process

All abstracts will be reviewed for:

  • Quality and innovation
  • Scientific content and merit of research
  • Demonstrable relevance to the themes
  • Adherence to guidelines and format

Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel and according to the criteria above. All abstract reviews are final. Once accepted, a member of the team will be in touch to confirm your participation.
