Ashley is an aspiring marketing and comms whiz hoping to teach the world how to pronounce the innovation centre's acronym "IBioIC" correctly, whilst contributing to the promotion of the Centre's vision of generating lots of money for the Scottish economy by 2030!
With a sales and events background, Ashley previously worked in the hospitality industry organising many an event ranging from conferences, weddings and VIP parties. Making a move into the public sector, she worked at the University of Strathclyde as a conference organiser before moving into the Researcher Development Programme leading the administration of over 100 training courses and events annually for postgraduate and early career researchers.
Within the IBioIC, Ashley began her time at the Centre providing operational support and managing the establishment of the office. Nowadays, she holds responsibility for the implementation of the marketing and communications strategy in order to raise the profile of the Innovation Centre to its local, national and international audience.
When she's not talking about all things IB related, Ashley is a bit of a social butterfly and enjoys spending lots of time with friends and family, walking her dog Rassay, and is currently training for her second 10k in October!
