Kimberley Jolly, Skills Programme Administrator - IBioIC

Kimberley joined the Innovation Centre in March 2015 providing secretarial support to the Skills Programme Manager and is responsible for coordinating the administrative aspects of the IBioIC's Skills Programme. Her key tasks include liaising regularly with the MSc and PhD students, handling student enquiries and attending various student recruitment events to promote learning in the Industrial Biotechnology sphere from Modern Apprentice to PhD level to help address the skills gap within the sector.

Having graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BA in Business Management, Kimberley went on to work as a key member of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games team where she was a Personal Assistant to the Head of Legal. This provided her with the unique opportunity to work on some of the largest events held during the games including the opening ceremony at Celtic Park; the Rugby Sevens event at Ibrox stadium and the Athletics event at Hampden Park where she met the fastest man on the planet - Usain Bolt!

Following the Games, Kimberley landed a temporary role at the University of Strathclyde working as an Administrator before moving into the IBioIC.

In her spare time Kimberley likes to socialise with friends and she is very much into crossfit training.
