Industrial Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future

IBioIC's Annual Conference is the leading general IB conference in the UK. The conference celebrates the success of the biotechnology industry in Scotland and provides delegates with the networking opportunities needed to drive new collaborations.

IBioIC's Annual Conference 2019, Industrial Biotechnology for a Sustainable Future, will take place on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st January 2019 in the Technology Innovation Centre, Glasgow.

IBioIC's Annual Conference is now regarded as the leading IB conference in the UK, with around 500 delegates expected to attend over the two days, and 80 speakers joining us for plenary sessions covering everything from the mechanics of achieving our sustainable future to the funding landscape for biotechnology ventures, session tracks covering a wide range of both established and emerging supply chains as well as our ever-popular PhD Spotlight and Member Showcase sessions. With an ever-growing 'fringe' of associated activities and events including 1-2-1 partnering meetings, our Annual Symposium on 29th January, the Charles Tennant Memorial Award Lecture which takes place at the end of Day 2, and Investor Clinic, a workshop hosted by the National Physical Laboratory, an HND work placement workshop and a variety of open and invitiation-only meetings taking place throughout the two days of the conference, there will be a lot going on. More detail on the 'fringe' events will be released in January and we recommend delegates review these when available and plan their conference activities in advance to avoid disappointment.

Registration is open until Monday 28th January 2019. 1-2-1 partnering will open in January. Register now to take part.
