GMP Technical Trainer – Biotechnology
STEM Recruitment are partnering with a leading biotechnology company in South East England to recruit a GMP Technical Trainer.
This is a permanent role offering the chance to design and deliver comprehensive Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) training programmes that ensure manufacturing staff meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will develop training materials, run workshops, assess trainee progress and play a key part in optimising manufacturing performance and quality assurance within the biotech sector.
Key Responsibilities
Training Programme Development: Design and implement training programmes covering all aspects of GMP regulations, procedures and best practice. Work closely with subject matter experts, training coordinators and departmental leaders to identify needs and develop relevant content.
Training Delivery: Deliver engaging training sessions for employees at all levels, including onboarding for new hires and cross-functional teams.
GMP Compliance: Ensure all training content aligns with current GMP regulations, industry standards and company policies, emphasising adherence to GMP principles.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training activities (attendance, evaluations, certifications) and prepare reports on training effectiveness, feedback and compliance metrics.
Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to enhance programmes and stay up to date with GMP regulations, industry trends and training methodologies.
Training Centre Support: Deliver the “Manufacturing Essentials” onboarding programme for production staff and ensure training records are maintained to quality standards.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking applications from individuals who can demonstrate:
Experience in manufacturing, ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and compliance standards
Proven ability to design and deliver technical training sessions
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Previous experience in a trainer or training-focused role (desirable)
