Membership & Networks
We connect academic expertise with industry needs across biotechnology, bioprocessing, biorefining and the circular economy.
IBioIC's community of over 1,300 industry and academic members, including more than 400 companies, represents the breadth of Scotland's industrial biotechnology ecosystem. Whether you're seeking a research partner, technical advisor or collaborator for a consortia project, we facilitate connections that create value.
What is the IBioIC Member Network?
The IBioIC community spans universities, SMEs, scaled manufacturers, consultants and specialists across the bioeconomy. Our members are active innovators in biotech, bioprocessing, biorefining, circular economy and related sectors.
We regularly bring members and the wider network together through events, workshops, webinars and meetings that create genuine opportunities for knowledge exchange and partnership creation. These gatherings generate insights, spark ideas and often lead to the partnerships that drive commercialisation.
