Aaron Reid

Aaron joined IBioIC as a laboratory trainee at the FlexBio facility in June of 2023, where he assists the team with lab maintenance and ongoing projects which primarily relate to downstream processing. Aaron is in his fourth year at the University of Aberdeen studying an MSci in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology) with Industrial Placement. After completing his placement at FlexBio in July 2024, he will return for his final year of university in September 2024.

Aaron is looking forward to obtaining relevant practical skills and making professional connections in the biotechnology industry, all of which will help him in a future career in the biopharmaceutical industry.

In his spare time Aaron does taekwondo where he is currently a fourth dan black belt. Also, Aaron enjoys travelling to new places.
