SRG is recruiting on behalf of a global pharmaceutical manufacturer seeking an Analytical Development Scientist to join their dynamic team in Glasgow. The Role
The Analytical Development Scientist will be responsible for supporting pharmaceutical product development through method development, validation, and routine analysis. Key duties include:

• Performing analytical tasks such as method transfer, formulation support, method validation, and stability studies within agreed timelines.

• Conducting routine analysis to support formulation development and method transfer to Quality Control (QC).

• Preparing and presenting scientific data in client updates and participating in technical discussions.

• Troubleshooting analytical and instrumentation issues, and assisting with technical investigations at the lab level.

• Reviewing analytical data generated by team members and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Liaising with internal departments, external clients, and customers as needed.

• Taking ownership of laboratory equipment and supplier communications.

• Authoring reports, SOPs, and other documentation in line with regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant science discipline.

• Strong technical expertise in analytical techniques, particularly HPLC.

• Previous experience in a similar laboratory setting, ideally within a CDMO or CMO environment.

• Familiarity with working in fast-paced, regulated environments.

• Demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail.
