Scottish Ocean Cluster Stakeholder Engagement Workshops
The Scottish Ocean Cluster was set up to help drive innovation and sustainability across Scotland’s marine sector — making the most of what’s caught, landed, farmed and processed here in Scotland.
The Cluster is running a series of engagement workshops early in 2026 and would really welcome input from a diverse range of stakeholders, including:
Biotech companies, entrepreneurs and investors interested in creating high-value products from seafood and shellfish side streams.
Academic and research teams interested in marine by-product valorisation and sustainable blue-economy solutions.
Fishing fleets and processors keen to maximise the value of their catch and by-products.
Aquaculture businesses exploring new opportunities from side streams.
Why attend?
These sessions are a chance to share the challenges you’re facing, highlight opportunities you see for Scotland, and help shape the Cluster’s priorities to maintain a focus on things that deliver real benefit — economically, environmentally, and socially.
@Alexandra Leeper, CEO of the @Iceland Ocean Cluster and instrumental in establishing nine Ocean Clusters globally, will also join the sessions — offering international insight into how collaborative clusters boost profitability, resilience and innovation.
