Innovative start-ups working in the bioeconomy are being invited to apply for an opportunity to showcase their technologies, connect with international industry leaders and access financial support to attend BIOKET 2027.
Taking place from 9–11 March 2027 in Strasbourg, France, BIOKET will bring together organisations from across the international bioeconomy ecosystem, including start-ups, technology developers, industrial companies, investors and scale-up specialists.
The event provides an opportunity for emerging businesses to raise their profile, explore commercial opportunities and develop connections that could help accelerate their growth.
Selected start-ups will have the opportunity to pitch their innovations to international investors and industry representatives, showcase their technologies within the event's dedicated Start-up Village, and engage with potential customers, commercial partners and scale-up experts.
Financial support available
New for 2027, BIOKET is introducing €15,000 in Start-up Vouchers to help innovative businesses participate in the event.
Successful applicants could receive funding covering up to 75% of eligible participation costs, including registration, travel and accommodation.
The financial support available depends on the start-up's location:
€500 for start-ups located within 300 km of Strasbourg.
€1,000 for European start-ups located more than 300 km away.
€1,500 for start-ups based outside Europe.
Vouchers will be awarded through a competitive selection process, with reimbursement provided after the event in accordance with the official terms and conditions.
