Senior Program Manager- Pharmaceuticals

  • Location: Falkirk

  • Job Type: Permanent

Do you thrive on juggling multiple projects, keeping clients onside, and getting complex pharma programmes over the line? This could be your next move.
SRG’s client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity to sit at the heart of the business - bridging the gap between customers and site teams, steering high-value projects from kick-off through to completion.

About the Role

You'll be the go-to person for a portfolio of client projects, balancing timescales, budgets and quality standards while keeping everyone pulling in the same direction. Expect plenty of variety, working alongside Business Development, R&D, Operations, Quality and Finance on projects spanning process development, GMP manufacturing and beyond.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Running several projects at once, keeping a close eye on scope, timelines, budgets and key milestones

  • Being the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and confident every step of the way

  • Building and maintaining clear, well-organised project documentation and risk logs

  • Spotting problems - and scope changes - before they become issues, and working with clients to find a way forward

  • Keeping track of project finances and feeding into revenue reporting

  • Supporting and developing newer members of the team

  • Helping shape better ways of working across the wider project management function

What You'll Bring

  • Solid experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry

  • A strong track record managing client relationships in a Project Management capacity

  • Time spent working within contract manufacturing or a CRO environment

  • Confidence leading cross-functional teams and getting buy-in from stakeholders at every level

  • A good grasp of GMP and the regulatory landscape

  • A relevant science-based degree

  • Formal project management training or certification would be an advantage

  • Comfortable using standard project management and office software

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to hold your own in a room full of stakeholders

What's In It For You

  • A senior role with real autonomy and visibility across the business

  • The chance to work on high-value, high-profile projects for major pharma clients

  • Exposure to international sites and global project teams

  • Clear scope to grow and develop within an expanding PM function

  • A supportive, close-knit team culture
