Caroline Scott

Caroline joined IBioIC in May 2025 as the FlexBio Scale-Up Facility’s laboratory technician. She’s responsible for supporting the Bioprocessing team with projects and training programs.

She is originally from South Africa, with Scottish roots, is fluent in both English and Afrikaans. Her background includes a Higher National Certificate in Animal Care and a bachelor’s degree in marine science. She has over five years lab-based experience and 20+ years in customer service.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her gardening, growing berries, plants and doing her best to keep neighbourhood bees and birds happy. Creativity fuels her downtime with painting, crafting and loves a DIY project. She believes in embracing challenges as an opportunity to grow and always aims to keep a healthy balance between work and play.
