Sophie Burns

Sophie joined IBioIC in January 2026 as Marketing and Events Officer. In this role, she supports the planning and delivery of key IBioIC, partner and member events, and works closely with colleagues to ensure effective promotion and audience engagement.

Before joining IBioIC, Sophie was Events Lead at the Net Zero Technology Centre, where she oversaw the organisation’s annual events programme. She holds an MA in History from the University of Dundee.

In her spare time, she enjoys long dog walks and reading a good book.
